The long history of Little Fish
Our programming experience dates back to the late 1970's when our founder imported an Atari from the USA. There were no games then so he had to learn to programme. From there on it was a progression through the history of home micros including the Sinclair Spectrum, Commodore 64, Atari ST, Apple Mac and PC
In 1994 our beloved leader began to dabble with the internet and graphic design. By 1996 he had developed a flair for the unusual, not college trained, more gifted.
One of our first projects was a Salsa magazine which began life as a broadsheet circulated among a few clubs and bars. Within a year Salsa World had become a 32 page colour magazine with a national circulation and fully fleshed out web site. This is where we first encountered the world of 3D graphics when rendering was left as an overnight job along with video files.
Since then the variety of work has increased to include bespoke commerce, online training, VPN and full corporate network installation and management. We have built Internet applications to monitor the Millennium Bug, Project management systems and data capture. We have also helped to develop call centre projects for charities and gather data for national fundraising.
It has been an interesting and often challenging journey to get to where we are today and it’s the challenge that drives us on up the river. You can probably tell that with us it is all about the person, not the corporation. We believe in keeping it personal, to us you are a person not a business and all business is dealt with personally.
We look forward to working with you.
